Studio Ji ("we," "our," or "us") operates the nyami application ("Service"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it, and your rights regarding your data.

3. Data Retention and Deletion
Retention Period
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- All personal data is permanently deleted when you delete your account.
Deletion Method
- Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed from our databases in an unrecoverable manner.
- Deletion covers: profile, meal records, photos, comments, follow relationships, bookmarks, collections, notifications, and all related data.
- Photo files stored in Supabase Storage are also deleted.
How to Delete Your Account
- Navigate to Settings > Delete Account within the app.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following external services to operate our Service. Each processes only the minimum data necessary for its function.

7. Location Information
- Location data is collected when you assign a location to a meal or browse nearby restaurants on the map.
- Location permission is requested only while the app is in use. We do not collect background location data.
- Location data is used solely to display meal locations on the map and to search for nearby restaurants.
- You can use all features of the Service except map-related features if you deny location permission.
8. Photos and Camera
- Camera permission is requested only when capturing meal photos.
- Photos are sent to our servers only when you choose to upload them.
- Photos are securely stored in Supabase Storage and are deleted when you delete your account.
- Uploaded photos may be automatically reviewed for inappropriate content.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
10. Security
We take the following measures to protect your personal information:
- HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all data transmission
- Token-based access control (JWT)
- No direct password storage (delegated to social login providers)
- Signed URLs (presigned URLs) for photo file access
- API rate limiting applied
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you in advance through in-app notices or email. The updated policy takes effect on the stated effective date.
